EMA STUDIO is an architecture practice established in 2015, founded by architects with experience gained since 2007 in renowned studios on significant projects across Poland.

We specialise in designing multi-family residential buildings, public buildings, and passive and high-energy-efficiency buildings.

Members of our team took part in designing the first public passive building in Poland, as well as many residential and public buildings, mainly in Warsaw and Kraków.

ABOUT US

Architect

Antoni Surowiak

Graduated in Architecture and Urban Planning at the Cracow University of Technology. Interested in passive, ecological and modular architecture, unconventional and ecological building technologies, art, music and computer graphics.

Architect

Mateusz Gierszon

Doctor of technical sciences; completed a master's degree and then defended his doctoral dissertation at the Faculty of Architecture of the Cracow University of Technology. Interested in ecology in architecture in the broad sense — both in terms of protecting resources and minimising a building's negative impact on its surroundings, and in terms of social ecology.

Ewelina Siestrzewitowska

Doctor of technical sciences; doctoral dissertation defended at the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology (supervisor Prof. Sławomir Gzell), with an earlier master's degree at the Faculty of Architecture of the Cracow University of Technology. Court expert at the Regional Court in Warsaw in architecture and urban planning for the 2024–2029 term. She has collaborated with design offices in Kraków and Warsaw, including ns MoonStudio, Studio Archi-5 and Bulanda Mucha Architekci. Interested in urban planning, the productivity of cities, spatial planning and urban sociology.
